Two in hospital in North after punishment attacks

Two teenagers were admitted to hospital in the North last night after they were injured in paramilitary style punishment attacks.

Two teenagers were admitted to hospital in the North last night after they were injured in paramilitary style punishment attacks.

The two, both aged 18 years, were shot in the right leg at Greenmount Place in Belfast.

Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Meanwhile, a third man is in hospital today following a paramilitary style punishment attack in Belfast overnight.

The 34-year-old was badly beaten in the Ards Drive area of Monkstown last night and suffered fractures to both arms and legs.
