Forum head claims unanimous support for enlargement

The National Forum on Europe has said there is unanimous support for EU enlargement from all the groups that are taking part in the debate.

The National Forum on Europe has said there is unanimous support for EU enlargement from all the groups that are taking part in the debate.

The Forum was set up last year following Ireland's rejection of the Nice Treaty and has heard submissions from various groups since then.

Forum chairman Senator Maurice Hayes said he believes a lack of information and clarity led to the No vote last June.
