The social partners are back in talks at Government Buildings today, after a pay deal was struck last week.

The social partners are back in talks at Government Buildings today, after a pay deal was struck last week.

This afternoon's talks are centred on employment standards, but the issue of pensions is the biggest stumbling block.

ICTU president Peter McLoone says there are still some sticky issues to be resolved like pensions, defined benefit schemes, employment standards and modernisation of the public sector.
