A full-scale search is resuming this morning for an escaped convict on the run from Cork prison.

A full-scale search is resuming this morning for an escaped convict on the run from Cork prison.

29-year old Adrian Duke escaped from custody in the violent ambush of a van by an armed gang.

They held up the vehicle at gunpoint on the N25 at Kilmeaden, as it was taking

four inmates from court in Waterford to Cork jail.

Gardai are warning members of the public not to approach Duke.
