Gardaí are continuing to search today for a man who carried out a domestic circumcision on a four-week-old boy who later died in Waterford Regional Hospital.

Gardaí are continuing to search today for a man who carried out a domestic circumcision on a four-week-old boy who later died in Waterford Regional Hospital.

The child, whose parents are from Nigeria, is believed to have died from blood loss after undergoing the botched procedure on Sunday night.

Gardaí believe the man who carried out the circumcision may have travelled to Dublin following the operation.
