The woman kidnapped from her home in the early hours of Monday morning is still receiving treatment.

It is unlikely she will be able to give gardai an interview until Friday.

Mrs Helen Judge of Allenwood in County Kildare was taken to hospital yesterday morning after she was discovered by Gardai in a filed in Louth. She was unhurt, but traumatised by her experience

The Gardai had expressed concern about her health because she is on prescribed medication.

Detectives and gardaí found Mrs Judge at 5 am in a wooded area 100 miles from her home, following a two-hour search of the area.

They had receiving an anonymous tip-off at about 3 am yesterday on a special information line.

Gardaí said they were following "a number of lines of inquiry" in relation to the abduction.

No ransom had been paid for Mrs Judge's return.

Early in her ordeal, a male caller had demanded €200,000 in a telephone call to the family home.
