Celebrities from the world of showbiz are expected at Dublin Castle tonight for the formal launch of 'Beckett on Screen'.

Celebrities from the world of showbiz are expected at Dublin Castle tonight for the formal launch of 'Beckett on Screen'.

Television versions of 19 Samuel Beckett stage plays will be broadcast on RTE and Channel Four over the coming months.

The Dubliner won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969.
