African Diamonds, the Dublin-based mining company, has announced the discovery of a diamond from their drilling program in Botswana.
The company was established to develop diamond mines in Botswana and West Africa and its target is to have a producing mine within three years.
It also has projects based in Sierra Leone, Lesotho and Guinea.
Chairman John Teeling announced that onsite analysis has discovered a good quality 0.11 carat stone.
Shares traded on the London Stock Exchange at £22.75 (€32.43) at 9:20am this morning.
