Post mortem due on stabbed teenager's body

A post mortem examination will be carried out later on the body of David Byrne, who was stabbed to death in Dublin on Saturday night.

A post mortem examination will be carried out later on the body of David Byrne, who was stabbed to death in Dublin on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old was chased by a gang of four youths into the car park of an apartment block in Inchicore where he was attacked.

He was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.

Superintendent John Gilligan has said they are following a number of lines of enquiry.
