Road deaths down on last year, say NSC

Figures from the National Safety Council show that the number of fatalities on Irish roads is down compared to the figure for the same time last year.

The number of people killed on our roads up to December 13 stands at 363, down from 387 on the same date last year.

Six people have been killed on Irish roads so far this month.
