Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller has created a piece of history in the US as he manages the artists in the top three places in the US singles chart.
The media mogul scored with a hat trick of hits from his American Idol show.
Contest winner Ruben Studdard, runner-up Clay Aiken and a joint recording by the contest’s 10 finalists made up the three highest positions on the Billboard chart.
His success has not been matched since Brian Epstein helped the Beatles claim the top three spots in March 1964 with I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You and Please Please Me.
Fuller said: “I’m grateful that my artists and projects are succeeding globally in such a phenomenal way.”
