Woman in 40s arrested after Carlow cannabis discovery

A woman in her 40s has been arrested after a cannabis growhouse was discovered in Co Carlow.

A woman in her 40s has been arrested after a cannabis growhouse was discovered in Co Carlow.

Gardaí found a number of cannabis plants, thought to be worth around €250,000, during the planned search of a house in Carlow town yesterday.

The woman is being questioned at Carlow garda station, under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
