Woman dies in Mayo motorcycle accident
A 54-year-old woman has died in a motorcycle crash in Mayo.
Gardaí in Ballina, Co Mayo are investigating the fatal single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that occurred at around 12pm on the Crossmolina to Belmullet Road.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
