Woman dies in Co Cork road crash
A woman in her 30s has died following a road crash near the Co Cork village of Castletownroche this morning.
The car that the woman was driving and a truck in Kilconway were in collision at around 9.30am.
A six-year-old girl who was also in the car escaped uninjured, but has been taken to Cork University Hospital as a precautionary measure.
The truck driver was not injured.
The N72 at Kilconway has been closed to allow for a technical examination of the scene.
