Woman dies after Co Waterford accident

A 22-year-old woman has died after the car she was travelling in collided with a van in Co Waterford yesterday.

A 22-year-old woman has died after the car she was travelling in collided with a van in Co Waterford yesterday.

The accident happened at Cappagh, near Dungarvan, shortly after 6.30pm. Gardaí are withholding her name until all next of kin are informed.

The woman is the fourth person to die on Ireland's roads since the start of the new year.
