Gardaí investigating criminal activity in Dublin released three men without charge yesterday evening.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A female (aged 47), who was arrested as part of the same investigation, was charged yesterday evening and bailed to appear at Dun Laoghaire District Court on June 24 at 10.30am.

Gardaí from Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock, assisted by Gardaí from across the Dublin region and the Garda Air Support Unit carried out searches in the Leixlip and Tallaght areas.

The four people, three men and one woman, aged from early 20s to late 40s were detained at Blackrock, Dundrum and Dun Loaghaire Garda Stations under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act – 1984.

A number of items have been recovered during the searches including cash, jewellery, computer items and various financial documents.

Investigations are continuing.
