Wives and partners of defence force members protest for better pay and conditions
The defence forces are ratcheting up their campaign for better pay and conditions with nationwide protests today.
Soldiers are not allowed to demonstrate so their wives and partners are doing it for them.
They will be picketing outside army barracks amid claims that many families are living on social welfare top-ups to make ends meet.
