Were you at the St Patrick's Day parades? You may be in one of our photo galleries

Throughout the evening we will be creating a series of galleries dedicated to the people who turned up at the various parades despite the lack of sunshine.

First up we have Cork where thousands turned out to see all the colour and fun. See if you can spot yourself in our gallery.

Next up we have Clonakilty in West Cork where our photographer Dan Linehan was on hand to capture some of the colour that transcended the grey skies.

In Limerick, there were around 4,000 in the parade down O'Connell Street. Are you one of the estimated 50,000 who cheered on the almost 100 community and theatre groups, companies, sports clubs and bands today?

The next gallery is from Dublin where more than half a million people lined the streets for Ireland's biggest annual parade.

The Cork town of Midleton also hosted its usual colourful parade with locals showing their support thorughout. Do you reconise anyone?

Two more towns from the Rebel county feature in our next gallery showing the locals and visitors of Bandon and Kinsale enjoying the festivities.

Now we're off to the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Tralee where groups of dancers, football clubs, pipe bands and much more marched through the town to rapturous applause despite the wet and windy conditions.

Back in Cork the people of Youghal and Blarney were determined not to let the wind and rain impact their big day. Check out some of the sights and sounds in this gallery.

Next we go to the beautiful town of Skibbereen in west Cork where the rain merely added extra spice to many parade participant's nautical theme.
