Weather warning as strong winds expected
A yellow weather warning remains in place across the country this morning.
Met Éireann is warning of high winds ranging from 45-to-65 kilometres per hour with gusts from 80-to-100.
The national forecaster expects the warning to remain in place until 6pm this evening.
