A Vietnamese man will appear at a special sitting of Sligo District Court charged in connections with yesterday's cannabis seizure in Leitrim.

A Vietnamese man will appear at a special sitting of Sligo District Court charged in connections with yesterday's cannabis seizure in Leitrim.

Up to €300,000 worth of cannabis plants were found in the search of a house in Church Manor, Carrigallen yesterday morning.

The 43-year-old man, who was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Carrick-On-Shannon Garda Station, is due in court at 8pm this evening.
