Varadkar considers perks for drivers of eco cars

If you drive a 'green' car, you could be in line for priority parking.

If you drive a 'green' car, you could be in line for priority parking.

The Transport Minister Leo Varadkar is said to be preparing rules which would see local authorities reserving spots for electric vehicles.

The drive to encourage people to invest in a cleaner-running car could even see those motorists offered free, or cut price parking rates.
