Unions examine revised proposals from Bus Eireann

Unions representing Bus Eireann workers are examining a draft document containing a revised list of cost-saving proposals.

It is hoped the new proposals will bring an end to the dispute that threatens to disrupt services from as early as this weekend.

Talks at the Labour Relations Commission in Dublin have been underway since 10am this morning.

SIPTU has said it will go ahead with strike action next Thursday if the new proposals are not satisfactory.
