Ireland is nearly reaching full employment as the end of the year approaches.

Unemployment rate expected to be 6.2% by the end of the year

Ireland is nearly reaching full employment as the end of the year approaches.

The ESRI says the unemployment rate will be 6.2% by January 1.

This will continue to drop further in the coming months to a level as low as 5.4% in 2018.

During the height of the economic crisis, 2010 unemployment exceeded 15%.
