Two remain in custody after Waterford shooting

Two men are still being held this morning, after a shooting in Waterford on Monday.

A man in his 40s was injured outside a premises on the Carrickpherish Road that afternoon.

He is still in a critical condition in University Hospital Waterford after he was shot a number of times.

A 27-year-old woman was released without charge.

Both men are being questioned at Waterford Garda Station.
