Two men have been jailed after pleading guilty to their part in a raid on the home of a Cork businessman, which was foiled by gardai.

Two men have been jailed after pleading guilty to their part in a raid on the home of a Cork businessman, which was foiled by gardaí.

38-year-old Trevor O'Sullivan, from Curraheen Close in Bishopstown, was given 15 years with three years suspended at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.

Vincent Murray, also aged 38, with an address in Glandore Park in Knocknaheeney, was given ten years with three years suspended.

They were involved in an attempted aggravated burglary at the home of Pat Glavin at Rougrane in Glanmire on August 11 last year.
