A man has been killed in a workplace accident in Laois.

A man has been killed in a workplace accident in Laois.

The man was in a truck breaker's yard in Tankardstown when the incident happened, just before 10am this morning.

GardaÍ and the Health and Safety Authority have launched separate inquiries in to his death.
