Gardai have confirmed that two men in their 20s have been injured following an explosion in Dublin.

Gardai have confirmed that two men in their 20s have been injured following an explosion in Dublin.

The device is believed to have gone off in the back garden of a house on Moatview Avenue in Coolock at around 7:30pm this evening.

Both men have been taken to Beaumont Hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The scene has been preserved for a technical exam and Gardaí are investigating.
