Two people remain in hospital with minor injuries this morning after hoarding collapsed on top of them in Dublin last night.

Two people remain in hospital with minor injuries this morning after hoarding collapsed on top of them in Dublin last night.

The incident took place at around 7.45pm at Merchant's Arch in Temple Bar, on Dublin's south quays.

Emergency services attended the scene and two people were brought to hospital, but Dublin Fire Brigade have said their injuries are not serious.

It is understood bricks may have come loose from the roof of the arch.
