Gardai at Mountjoy have arrested two males following a robbery in Phibsborough on the 16th November 2012.

Gardaí at Mountjoy have arrested two males following a robbery in Phibsborough on the 16th November 2012.

At approx 16:25 hours two males armed with knives entered a financial institution on the Phibsborough Road and threatened staff before escaping on foot with an amount of cash.

Gardaí attended the scene and two men aged in their 40s were arrested a short distance away. All of the money taken was recovered.

Both men are currently detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Mountjoy Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
