Twenty five jobs lost in Longford

Fondermann, which manufactures industrial safety equipment has announced it’s to close at the end of the summer.

Longford town is to lose 25 jobs.

Fondermann, which manufactures industrial safety equipment has announced it’s to close at the end of the summer.

The company, which has been in Longford from 1962, was taken over last year by Tyco, which also has plants in Athlone and Tullamore.
