The Teachers Union of Ireland is holding a protest outside Leinster House later today.
Members of the TUI will be voicing their opposition to the FEMPI Bill which is being currently being finalised.
The Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (FEMPI) Bill, 2015 is the sixth piece of FEMPI legislation since 2009.
It is the process of restoration in remuneration for public servants including gardaí and teachers.

The union said its members voted by 92% to reject the Lansdowne Road Agreement, and this legislation ignores their democratic vote.
President of the TUI Gerry Quinn said that many young teachers are being exploited.
“High on the list of reasons for our 92% No vote is the ongoing exploitation of thousands of young teachers, who are struggling with very low incomes, because of temporary or part-time jobs and discriminatory pay,“ Mr Quinn said.
“Many can’t afford to stay in their jobs.”
