Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country, according to nurses today.
The latest trolleywatch report shows there are 38 people awaiting a bed there.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 424 people on trolleys in Emergency Departments and overflow areas of wards.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda has 29 patients waiting for beds, while there are 27 in the same position in Wexford General Hospital today.
