Earlier today, at an emotional press conference with his family, Mickey Harte said they were all devastated.

And he asked the media to respect their privacy and that of his son in law John McAreavy, who has been struggling to cope with the tragedy alone in Mauritius.

"He's isolated out there, He's had an awful time. Our hearts go out to him," he said.

"I would ask anybody in the press corps out there, please respect his privacy."
