Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage after a fire in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage after a fire in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

A woman and two teenagers were rescued from the upstairs bedroom of a house at Moatview Avenue in Priorswood, Danrdale at 5.20am.

A wheelie bin had been set on fire and placed up against the door of the house.

Four units of the fire bridge attended the scene and the three females were taken to Beaumont Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

Gardaí at Coolock are investigating the blaze and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
