Three separate road crashes in Cork have caused traffic chaos in the city this morning.

Gardaí are dealing with a crash on the Middle Glanmire Road in Montenotte and traffic is slow in the area.

The AA has said that a crash on the N40 South Ring Road eastbound at Junction 10 to Mahon has been cleared, but delays remain from before Junction 9 Bloomfield through to the Jack Lynch Tunnel.

There was also a crash at the Kinsale Road roundabout and this has also been cleared and delays are easing.

It follows two other crashes within minutes of each other in the city on Friday.
