Three arrests after Kerry burglaries

Three men have been arrested after a number of burglaries in Co. Kerry this week.

Homes in the Glenbeigh, Killorglin, Laharn and Killarney areas were targeted.

Gardaí issued an appeal for information about a silver Ford Galaxy car with a 08 D registration yesterday, which they believed was involved in the burglaries.

Following a number of calls from the public, a vehicle was seized by gardaí and three men - all from Dublin - were arrested in Currow, Co. Kerry, Mallow in Cork and Naas, Co. Kildare.

The man arrested in Naas has since been released - however the other two have had their detentions extended until lunchtime today.
