Thousands of hospitality jobs are up for grabs in Western Australia, according to the organisers of the Travel and Work seminar in Dublin today.

Thousands of hospitality jobs are up for grabs in Western Australia, according to the organisers of the Travel and Work seminar in Dublin today.

Irish workers will be invited to apply for positions in pubs, hotel and restaurants across the territory.

Meanwhile, a further 500 Irish people are being sought for construction jobs in Canada.

A Canadian employers' group said they had a massively successful weekend, during which they recruited 100 people at a weekend jobs expo event in Dublin.

Padraig Yeates, a spokesperson for the British Columbia Construction Association during their trip to Ireland, said they hit Cork today and there are even more jobs up for grab.
