Readers of The Irish News are being given an opportunity to probe Theresa May over Brexit.

The British Prime Minister has agreed to answer six questions from the newspaper's readers in relation to one of the most significant political developments in decades.

Mrs May urged readers to submit their questions saying the views of the people of Northern Ireland are hugely important to her and to the whole of the UK.

According to its website, questions to the prime minister on Brexit should be submitted to theresamay@irishnews.com by 8am today, along with your name, postal address for verification purposes only and a contact number.

The responses to the selected six questions alongside expert commentary and analysis will appear in The Irish News later this week.
