'Betsy' is apparently the most popular nickname for Irish cars.

The AA surveyed over 15,000 drivers to find out 'Betsy' was five times more popular than any other name.

Naming your car seems to be more of a female trait as 31% of women have a pet name for their motor compared to just 19% of men.
