Gardaí are investigating after a teenager was mugged in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are investigating after a teenager was mugged in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

The man in his late teens had his phone and wallet stolen on the Dublin Road in Limerick just after 4am.

A man and woman were seen driving off in a silver Opel car.

Gardaí later arrested a man and woman in their 20s who are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station.
