A teenager stabbed in Dublin last night is in a serious condition in hospital this morning.

A teenager stabbed in Dublin last night is in a serious condition in hospital this morning.

Shortly after midnight emergency services were called to a house on the Old Naas Road in Bluebell where they treated an 18-year-old man for his wounds.

He was taken by ambulance to St. James's Hospital where he remains today.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination..

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact Kilmainham Garda Station.
