TD's office damaged by petrol bomb

A Sinn Féin TD’s constituency office has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack today.

The incident happened at Aengus O Snodaigh’s office in Ballyfermot in south Dublin.

“This mindless attack could have endangered the lives of people working in that building, not just my own staff but also those who work for two businesses who share the building with my office,” Mr O Snodaigh said.

It is understood the petrol bomb was thrown into the hallway of the shared building at about 3pm and caused only minor smoke damage.

No-one was injured and the incident was quickly dealt with.
