TD Murphy calls on Finance Minister to resign

Paul Murphy

The Dáil has heard calls for Michael Noonan to resign over his handling of the SiteServ controversy.

The review by IBRC's liquidators has dominated Leaders' Questions again today.

Enda Kenny insists that IBRC's liquidators are capable of a fair inquiry and that a retired High Court judge will make sure there are no conflicts of interest.

However, Paul Murphy of the Anti-Austerity Alliance has said Michael Noonan has misled the Dáil about whether SiteServ was raised in private meetings with IBRC and that he should resign.
