A frontline worker has said the Taoiseach Enda Kenny will have "blood on his hands" if any of his colleagues "hurt themselves" because of the pressure of pay cuts.
Last night more than 4,000 frontline workers turned up at a rally to oppose a proposed 10.6% pay cut to shave a billion euro from the Public Sector wage bill.
They were urged to bombard TDs, Ministers and Senators with their objections and a firefighter urged them to "look out for each other" at this stressful time.
