Taoiseach questions legality of Israeli actions

The Taoiseach has today condemned the actions of Israel in an attack on a flotilla of ships heading for Gaza last night.

The Taoiseach has today condemned the actions of Israel in an attack on a flotilla of ships heading for Gaza last night.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is checking Israeli reports that one Irish citizen has been wounded in the incident.

It is now known that 12 Irish passport holders were on boats in teh flotilla. So far only five of these have been accounted for.

At least 10 civilians were killed during the raid on the flotilla. Some reports suggest the death toll could be as high as 19, with dozens more wounded.
