There are nine stages hosting events throughout the day, covering the latest issues affecting technology, sport, the media, enterprise and society.
It has been a stormy build up to Web Summit 2015 with the news that the event will move to Lisbon from next year.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny's invite to the event was only sent after 9pm last Friday - asking him to confirm by Sunday afternoon.
Organisers had previously complained that Government officials were slow to respond to correspondence from them.

The Taoiseach and most government Ministers now will not be in attendance at the event.
