Survey reveals higher hotel costs in Dublin city centre

Top hotels in Dublin city centre are commanding prices up to 60% higher than their rivals in the west of the city and those located near the capital's airport, according to a study by property consultants, Savills Ireland.

Top hotels in Dublin city centre are commanding prices up to 60% higher than their rivals in the west of the city and those located near the capital's airport, according to a study by property consultants, Savills Ireland.

The survey said it shows the city zone is recovering from the downturn at a much faster pace than other locations.

It is being put down to increased tourist numbers and corporate occupancy levels so far this year.
