Survey: Quarter start office romance at Christmas party

Almost half of people admit to getting up to mischief at their office Christmas party.

A survey by 11850 says some of the antics include drinking too much, kissing a colleague - and drunkenly telling your boss what you think of them.

Over a quarter said their night of festive celebrations ended in an office romance which lasted well into the New Year.

And it can be an expensive night out, with almost three quarters of women saying they spend €100 in the run up to their Christmas party.

The same can't be said for men though - only 10% admitted to making a special effort for the night.
