Suggestions raised that Gardaí should be fully armed
It may be time to fully arm the Gardaí according to residents living near Dublin's latest gangland shooting.
Eddie Hutch Sr was gunned down at his home on Poplar Road on Monday evening.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with information on the shooting to contact them.
One resident gave his opinion on the Gardaí.
“Well you can see the guards there and I think they are trying their best you know, there is no question about that.
“One would never have heard of a murder going way back, but we are in a time now where it happens very easily and frequently now.”
