St Vincent's Hospital board to discuss managers' pay

St Vincent's Hospital says it will hold a board meeting to discuss the pay of its senior executives.

It comes after a meeting with HSE officials to discuss top-up payments to some senior managers.

The hospital says it is complying with public pay guidelines, despite its chief executive earning almost €300,000, more than twice the HSE guidelines' limit.

It says managers will hold further talks with the HSE once the board has met to consider today's events.
